Our promise to you:
WELCOME,
Our dogs are a very important part of our family. We have raised our adults from puppies, and they have lived with us in our home ever since. Even once our adults are retired, they are spayed/neutered and stay with us as pets because they are family, first and foremost.
Each litter is hand-raised in our home with great intentionality, alongside our children. The puppies are held and snuggled constantly so they are well-socialized with children and other dogs. And because they live in our home, they are desensitized to everyday household noises and objects, so adjust quickly/easily once they join their new families. They are also weighed daily, bathed and get their nails trimmed regularly so neither are new experiences once they join your family.
Our puppies cannot leave our care until they are at least 8 weeks old. Each puppy will visit our vet, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, and will be properly dewormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks old, before they are released to their new homes. Each puppy will also come with their registration papers (full or limited), their vet records, their certified health certificates, toys, and food. When you adopt one of our puppies, you receive lifetime breeder support.

Because we cannot imagine our lives without our dogs, we find no greater joy than when our puppies find their perfect forever homes. Nothing makes our hearts happier than when the perfect family finds their fur baby.
However, we know that sometimes things do not always work out as planned when introducing another four-legged member into the family or when life throws unexpected challenges. We want you to know that we are here for you and your puppy! If for some unfortunate reason you are no longer able to keep your puppy, we insist on being the first person you contact - we will take the puppy back! We do not ever want to see any of our sweet babies end up in a shelter or a bad situation. Let us know immediately and we will take the puppy back, either keeping him/her ourselves or rehoming them into another loving family.

Adopting a puppy from us is never intended to be a one-time deal or a random transaction. Please stay in touch with us and send us photos, videos and updates - we love watching our babies grow and thrive. While many of our puppies stay local to our Ohio area, many of them reside in Texas, Iowa, Wyoming, Arizona, New York, New Jersey, and countless other states.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns, too. Whether you have had the puppy for 2 weeks or 15 years, we are happy to help in whatever way we can! (Please remember, however, that we are not veterinarians and cannot give professional advice but are willing to give opinions and advice to the absolute best of our knowledge.)

While we prefer to schedule in-person pickups and meet all the new families in person, we know many of our puppies have found forever homes all across the country and a road trip is not possible for everyone. We offer shipping via United Airlines pet-safe program, and Delta...and we do drive and meet families wherever they need us to go. (It is not unheard of for us to drive 17 hours in a day for a puppy.) Travel and airfare are not included with the puppy, and are at the puppy parent's expense.
